Grown out of FF Company Vienna and today part of the group headquartered in Seligenstadt. For Austrian customers, that means short distances on the ground and the full portfolio of distribution, service and in-house developments.

Our Milestones

2026:
  • Expansion of strategic networks and partnerships, particularly with HAVIS, to further internationalize the solutions, service, and partner business
  • International brand presence through the renaming of FF Company GmbH to PWA ELECTRONIC AUSTRIA GMBH, combined with unified branding and a joint web presence for the companies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
  • Recertification according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (certified since 2023)
2025:
  • Signing of a reconfiguration and modification agreement with Getac
  • Integration of the A Ruggserv business, establishing PWA ELECTRONIC GMBH as a European Durabook Service Center and distributor
  • Award of the EcoVadis “Committed” Medal for sustainability
2024:
  • Establishment of the strategic partnership with Getac and recognition as “Strategic Partner of the Year”
  • Recertification according to ISO 9001 (certified since 2021)
2023:
  • Expansion of the management team with Sascha Pfannmüller (CEO) and Jens Rhein (COO)
2022:
  • Establishment of PWA ELECTRONIC SWITZERLAND AG
  • Launch of the PWA SOLUTIONS portfolio
2021:
  • Launch PWA_SHOP
2020:
  • Acquisition of FF Company GmbH in Austria to strengthen market presence in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)
  • Signing of a distribution agreement with Panasonic TOUGHBOOK as an official partner
  • Launch of the PWA_CARE and PWA_RENT service offerings
2019:
  • Signing of a European Durabook service agreement through the newly established sister company A Ruggserv GmbH and establishment as the only service center in Europe
2018:
  • Expansion of service capacities through additional staff and facilities
2017:
  • Expansion of production capacities for diagnostic systems as a foundation for international service packages
  • Expansion of production and warehouse capacities to meet increasing customer requirements
2013:
  • Development of international partnerships with HAVIS and Gamber-Johnson (including sub-brands), as well as establishment as a European service center to sustainably expand the service and distribution business
2007:
  • Authorization as an official Panasonic TOUGHBOOK Competence and Service Center for Germany and Austria
2002:
  • Signing of a Europe-wide distribution and service agreement in the automotive sector
1999:
  • Signing of the first service agreement with the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK division
1996:
  • Entry into the rugged computing business with the launch of the first Panasonic TOUGHBOOK CF-25
  • Development of dedicated TOUGHBOOK service processes for the German Armed Forces and exclusive provision of repair services
1991:
  • Founded by shareholders Fridhelm Packhieser, Wolfgang Wosch and Jürgen Antl.
